Muse

The theme for theMCP Project 52 this week is "muse." Now is that a verb or a noun? Either, I suppose. So that is what I'm "shooting" for this week as I take pictures. Anyway, here are a few pictures that I think go along with the theme. But I took them last week, so they don't really count. But whenever I visit this place I contemplate and meditate, so to me that could mean "musing."

While taking these pictures I was of course thinking of my brother and sister-in-law, who are actually anticipating the birth of their adoptive daughter any time now... Can't wait for them to receive this blessing, and in the meantime, "Happy Valentines Day" from Andreaux.

Soothing Repetition

I've taken my picture for the MCP Project 52 this week. The theme is "soothing repetition." Not sure if the photogrpah I selected exactly fits into the theme, but it was my favorite picture from this week, so I posted it. Here you go...

Flowers

I'm submitting some photographs of flowers for the newest photography assignment on the Pioneer Woman Photography blog. My personal favorite is the one of the lilacs with the window in the background. I also like the orange one. What do you think? And do dandelions count as flowers? Anyway, check out the submissions on the Pioneer Woman blog. They are amazing. One day I will take excellent photographs like that!

Monday, Monday

This week the theme for the MCP Project is, "soothing repetion." So that is on my mind for taking pictures this week. Any suggestions? I am thinking a rocking baby, or a textured blanket, or maybe the moon. In the meantime, here are a few flashback photos of my little princess. How in the world did I take pictures before I had this sweet little subject? She's so cute!

MCP Project 52

Just ran into this fun photography project on the MPC Actions blog. I am going to give it a try to get me energized for photography for the new year. The project actually started at the first of the year, but since you can join in at any time, I'm starting this week. Stay tuned for my first photos...
